Online poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers receive 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantly to the house. After the bet is the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a sum in accordance with the original bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your ante and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
