Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to fret about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game play, beginners should be able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make frenzied decisions.

It is also easier to participate in for a very long time with just a little amount of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
