Beginners Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about other, more advanced gamblers taking their cash.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game play, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to enjoy for an extended time with only a tiny amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
